You must really be tired... [He sighs and shakes his head and moves to get up again, eyes on the bookshelf behind the couch so he can grab some stuff but he accidentally elbows the open soda bottle over on the desk!!]

[He hears that fall and his eyes fly open and he sits up. That isn't good at all. He tries to think of where Shin puts towels--]

[Shin's already trying to save the papers the soda spilled on -- he's not entirely sure what they are, they look like notes -- and he's about to ask Matt to get the towels they're in the closet by the bathroom--

then he stops again, staring at something behind Matt and the couch.]

--What? [He is already up and heading for the kitchen because paper towels or dishcloths work, right?]

... Behind you.

[Did you just hear something clink like the metal gate of a cage, Matt? It should sound like Ken's hamster cage, just heavier. And behind you.]

[The clink makes Matt wonder if there's a monster or some shit, but--]

I didn't know you had a rabbit.

I didn't know either. [He's picking up the rest of his papers and setting them on the coffee table where there's less stuff to destroy, getting up and wiping his hands on his jeans before walking over to the cage. He thinks, for a moment.]

... I think his name is Tono.

[Matt will duck out to get the towels necessary to make the room not sticky--]

How do you know?

It's his. [He'll take the towels with a thank you to Matt and do the cleaning because it's his own apartment. It's not that big of a mess on the floor since the bottle wasn't full and the papers soaked up most of it, but once the mess is wipes up Shintaro's turning to those papers, trying to identify them to decide if he needs to preserve them or he can do without them.]

The other Shintaro's.

[If he's cleaning, Matt's going to offer a finger to the rabbit to see if he can pet it.]

All my friends get back small animals...

[The rabbit will shuffle up to him with nose twitching and sniff at his fingers. He's friendly!]

So it happens a lot, then? You can take him out if you want.

[!! Friendly rabbit. Matt smiles and scratches the bunny's nose.]

I don't want to disorient him. It's the second time I've seen it happen. Ken got a hamster.

[Tono twitches that nose and shakes his head quickly! But he will continue to sniff at Matt's fingers.]

Lots of tiny animals for you to play with, then.

... If the rabbit's from the time in the memory I got, he's going to want food.

[Cute. Very cute.]

Do you have vegetables? Maybe lettuce or peppers?

Yeah. I've got plenty of lettuce. [He decides to just throw out the ruined papers, gathering them up and moving to the kitchen area where he shoves them into the trash and turns to open the fridge. Apparently he has lettuce but as can be expected of a guy who skips meals, there isn't much in there. He'll just take a few seconds to wash the vegetable and get some leaves and bring them over on some paper towels.] Here.

[.... Matt gestures to the rabbit. It's yours. Feed it.]

[You looked like you wanted to. He will do so though, tearing one of the leaves into smaller pieces and sticking them through the bars. Tono will chew on them contently.]

[It's still your rabbit.]

Agreeable, huh?

I guess so... [He will feed his new charge dutifully.] Tono though. The Lord, huh? what a rabbit.

He's a pretty nice rabbit. He's not really skittish or anything.
